Fixed Roof Sports: 1972 MG MGB GT

The MGB GT is a good looking car from any angle. Not just because the roof was designed by Pininfarina, but also because the rest of the car is a fun to look at as well. Sure, the GT was slower than the standard MGB because of its additional roof weight, but the torsional rigidity and lack of sunburn makes it worth it in my book. Today’s example is offered for a reasonable price and has been recently given a thorough restoration from a father/son team. Find this 1972 MG MGB GT offered for $13,500 in Eagle Rock, CA via craigslist.

I had a 1971 MGB convertible as my first car in 1986. Odometer didn’t work, tach didn’t work, Speedo didn’t work, and fuel gauge didn’t work. I was figuring fuel with a stop watch. Not sure how. Ran out of gas many times. The GT is definitely the one to get. I wonder if a VW 1.9 ALH would fit in there. That would be fun.
8k for the paint and they didn’t fix the door damage?
I think the door damage happened post-repaint.
