Fever Dream: 1995 Ford Taurus

1995 was a great years for the automobile. Auto manufacturers had finally figured out how to dig their way out of the funk from the 70s/80s and things were looking good for performance, speed, and reliability. So, I love it when folks find a well preserved car from the mid 90s, because these modern classics are now 25 years old, but reliable, safe, and new enough to drive every day. But…BUT, out of all the cars on the planet built in 1995 to preserve and keep minty clean, why does it have to be a Taurus. But here it is, 38,000 miles and a car that the late, great Hunsbloger would approve 1000%…so here it goes; find this 1995 Ford Taurus offered for $3,500 in Lansdale, PA via craigslist. Tip from Jeff.

1995 Ford Taurus GL. 36,800 miles! Just passed PA state inspection. $3,500 or best offer. No trades, car was inherited and I don’t need it. This was my grandmothers car, as they got older they drove less and less, hence the low mileage. Car was always garage kept and is in wonderful condition inside and out. Underbody is very clean, no rust, car was never driven in snow or salt. Tires are in great shape with plenty of tread depth. Accident free. Everything works except AC noted below, lights, heat, wipers, power windows and locks, stereo. It’s like going back in time, original owners manuals, window sticker, ice scraper, umbrella, polka cassettes and Werther’s Originals are included. The A/C compressor failed and is removed. Shorter serpentine belt used from a none A/C car.
Text me and I can provide a google photos album with 100+ high quality photos.
Car can be viewed in Lansdale or Erdenheim.
Cash or cashier check from national bank only. No trades.

Drive 50,000 miles, wash occasionally, sell it along… basically a free car. Huns would have preferred the Mercury Sable ugly wagon version, of course, but probably could not have resisted the beige-on-bei… *yawn* …wha?
Polka cassettes and Werther’s Originals included, LOL. Good line.
Agree with Kaibeezy: buy it, drive it for a few years and sell it on. Even if you only get $1,000 back, $2,500 to drive a car for four or five years is pretty effing cheap! Just fix the a/c.
