Fast ‘n’ Cheap: 1995 BMW M3 E36
If you want to go fast but not spend a bunch of money, there is a little secret in the used car market known as the E36 generation BMW M3. These things are cheap…really cheap when you compare them to E30 M3, E39 M5, Porsche 911, MkIV Supra and various other overpriced modern classics. Find this 1995 BMW M3 offered for $6,500 near Los Angeles, CA via craigslist.
Why is the E36 M3 so comparatively inexpensive? I dunno. It could be the fact that the US version got a detuned engine that makes only 240 horsepower, or that interior quality looks like it was made in North Korea. However, the fantastic reflexes, superb braking, and sublime steering feedback more than compensate for lack of forward grunt.

Only two photos in two different locales? In one shot there's a 30ft wall topped with concertina wire. Quite touchingly the seller positioned his bimmer smack dab in front of his lightly weathered particle board gimp shack. Did you note the high mount ambush cam in the background? (The seller will tell you it's for your safety because Nibbles his pit-wolverine-chupacabra cross breed prefers his munchies not to be bleed out first.)
If you find yourself feeling a little vulnerable when signing the pink slip deep in the deep dark boules of Le Love Shaquille, you can't blame anyone else but yourself for being baited into a once in a lifetime deal.

Right there with you. Seller should have driven over to Palos Verdes and snapped a few pics there. Could increase his ask by $3k!
But first, a song from the B-52s
"I got me a car, it's as big as a whale
And we're headin' on down to the Gimp Shack?
I got me a Chrysler, it seats about 20
So hurry up and bring your jukebox money"
Yes Tinternell I believe your suspicions are correct, the gimp shack hides a man with a bat fo yo head foo!
