Fast Forward: 2003 Jaguar S-Type R

Do you know who needs a late model sedan with a supercharged V8? Everybody. At least once in your life, you should own something that is modern enough to not be worried about it falling apart, fast enough that it should scare you if it does fall apart, but cheap enough that if it does fall apart, you can just leave it on the side of the road. Yeah. Jag to the rescue. Find this 2003 Jaguar S-Type R offered for $4,500 in Matawan, NJ via craigslist.

Notice how it only needs *rear* tires, LOL. This is basically a polished Ford, but provided the interior is decent and it runs/been maintained good, this is a nice car for the price point. 2003 is the one to get as it went from 4.0 to 4.2 ltr. + got updated engine internals. ZF tranny was new here as well. Yeah, slush box, but for guys like me with jacked up left leg/ankle………….
What does “price point” mean? You mean price?

Just that an “asking” price of $4500 is more or less cash car numbers and it’s an “R” model that’s under NADA value as well. Granted, not sure what the interior looks like, but if the seller is “asking” $4500 there’s a good chance you could get it for $4k
I still love the “Don’t waste my time” lines….nothing like a touch of indignant self-important attitude to really bring the buyers in.
