Fast 6-Speed: 2004 Audi S4
This next car comes from tipper SecondMouse who writes: OOOOH. Around my house, this car is better known as the marriage ender. It’s a long, scary story, but it ended with me getting rid of an A8 that was a bad luck magnet with a terrible automatic transmission. Anyway, these S4s are much sought after, none more so than the version with the standard transmission. This example is awesome in black, RS4 wheels, and all the expensive stuff reported done to it already and still hasn’t rolled the odometer. Unfortunately, it is too small to sleep in. Find this 2004 Audi S4 offered for $10,495 located in Magnolia, TX via craigslist.

A friend had one of these. It pulled hard at any rpm in any gear. It made a great V-8 sound. It had a nice interior and handled good. It looked like an A4 so nobody tried to steal it and except under full throttle the police did not notice it. The only problem was that it ate gas. It ate a lot of gas. The gas gauge went down so fast it seemed like there was a medium sized hole in the gas tank. Buy it for a weekend car and enjoy it.
Anybody got a quote for me? What would it cost to re-build the tranny on such a vehicle today?
Nice find overall. (growing up poor, I still lean towards the Fieta-fun mentality)
