Einundzwanzig: 1978 BMW 320i E21

The E21 generation BMW was the successor to the classic BMW 2002 (aka the 1600 or the New Class or the 02 Series depending on who is talking) and the first BMW to be give the legendary 3-series designation. Today’s E21 has a lot of good stuff going for it — first it isn’t some bland shade of white, it is covered in the original madeira red, and second it has a manual gearbox behind the 2-liter M10 inline-4, and third has has reported low miles…however, the asking price is wallet draining to say the least. That is all the money and then some for a E21 in my opinion. But these are going from junkers to classics. I’m conflicted.
