I recently purchased a carfax report and found an accident reported in 2001 (no details) and a noted ODO discrepancy in 2003 that showed the mileage at 200k. Unfortunately for me, I didn’t do this before I purchased it, but my loss is your gain! In light of this information, I’ve adjusted the price accordingly! I don’t regret the purchase as it’s a great running, solid car, but I understand what these things mean for the retail asking price. (https://www.carfax.com/api/consumers/667995305/report/email/dd7c967dd2f724d50536a0a3deea7f4c92b5c6ca37684de4263c1d4e80ae1178baf34dc998721e05?s_id=c-1%7Cp-5%7Cmt-10%7C&partner=VHU_G&et_id=6035999)
ODO Shows 105k; Actual mileage unknown. (added approx 10k since ODO stopped working). Per the included service records, the ODO was working in 2/2020 (103k). It now shows 105k and the previous owner claims to have put 10k on it from 2020-2022, which is when I purchased it. I’ve added < 1k since I’ve owned it. However, carfax shows the vehicle with 209k in 2001, then 77k in 2003 – No explanation that I’m aware of.
Garage kept, well maintained 1989 325i convertible. Runs and drives great, shifts smooth and pulls hard to the red line!
Motivated to sell as we are moving soon and will not have parking for this beauty. Title in hand. Maintenance records available. Paint is in excellent condition with normal flaws – small scratches, dings and small dents. Seats show wear (specifically drivers side), but nothing abnormal for a car this age.
Due for a timing belt change, but other than that, she starts every time and runs strong. Like a lot of these e30’s, she has a long crank sometimes the first time you start it. I believe this is related to a valve in the fuel line that is supposed to keep the fuel from draining back to the tank when the car is off. Passenger side window switch is hit or miss. Driver side fog light is out. Previous owner removed the antenna, but the motor still works. Previous owner said he wasn’t sure how well the new top sealed and I’ve never driven it in the rain, so something to keep in mind.

See a better way to drive something white? tips@dailyturismo.com
I’m getting good at pricing. I saw the pic and thought, another Beemer, eight grand. I would bet that BMW is the most represented mark on this site. I hate them.
Why? What’s not to love about a platform that is manual, rwd and produced in numbers enough that they are affordable for us car enthusiasts all these years later?
What is your preferred brand/car you’d rather see more of here?
I don’t have a rational reason for hating BMW’s but that sort of behavior is common now.
If you look at that widget at the says “Popular Junk” you might notice that some of the tags have fonts larger than others. The bigger the font, the more often it is referenced. ‘Murica is the most used tag, but BMW is the most used marque, followed by Ford, then Chevrolet, German, Japanese, Toyota…etc.
I have one of these and I really like it.
Same, in white, a year or two newer, automatic and with the cantankerous power convertible top vs manual
Mine is Cirrus Blau, manual blue top, blue interior, 5sp, 94k miles, I am 3rd owner (2nd owned it for a week). Have had the car since 2007 and every time I think about selling it, I drive it. The Ultimate Tanning Machine.
Seller here – glad to answer any questions or concerns! Thx for picking up my listing, Daily Turismo!!
