DT 5.0 Old Number Number 3: 2001 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

Car #3 posted to DT back in the day was a 2001 Corvette Z06.  That was then, this is now.  Find this 2001 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 for sale in Bothell, WA for $19,500 via craigslist.  This post is part of DT’s 5th Birthday Celebration.

Post(er) child #3 was a red Z06 with a salvage title with an ask of $13,850.  Our black beauty from Bothell is a 55K mile garage queen with a clean title and is unmodified except for a Borla exhaust.

According to our then newly appointed E-i-C, 5,700 Z06’s were ordered by mullet sporting men in sleeveless t-shirts in the year 2001.

Also according to our historical post, the Z06 weighed in at 3,115lbs, some of that due to the light wieght titanium exhaust with quad tips.  Since this car apparently has an aftermarket Borla system, you can expect some weight gain, as we all probably have experienced over the past 5 years.
