Drop Top: 1984 Pontiac Fiero

Two Pontiac Fieros in a row? Yes. You bet. The last Fiero was this silly Barbie colored thing that might be a good driver for a sorority sister, but this next Fiero is shockingly better looking than it deserves to be. Its got a 4-cyliner iron duke and a slushbox…but it has a wicked chopped top and wheels that work oddly well. Find this 1984 Pontiac Fiero offered for $10,995 in Cadillac, MI via classicars.com. Great looker. Unique. Only one at cars & coffee for sure.
Great profile, love me some Fiero but I’ve gotta be pedantic and piss in the pool: how is this a ‘drop top’ if there’s no convertible top to drop?
Maybe there is, but it’s so hideous or janky looking they didn’t bother posting any pics with the top up?
I’m picturing the infamous Top Gear convertible minivan…
