Different Ride: 2007 Saturn Ion

I don’t have a major issue with the conventional logic of buying a late-model Japanese car if you want a cheap daily driver. A manual gearbox equipped with a Honda or Toyota (Accord, Civic, Camry, Corolla, whatever) is a perfectly good car to drive, but perhaps lacking in style and totally lacking in soul. You could consider a properly depreciated luxury sedan like a BMW or Audi…or you could go completely into left field and buy something like a Saturn Ion with a manual gearbox. The Ion was one of the last cars developed by Saturn before it started importing Opels and tossed into the GM brand dumpster. They are plasticy & cheap, but simple enough to be reliable. Find this 2007 Saturn Ion offered for $3,750 or best offer located in Las Vegas, NV via ebay motors.

From the seller:
2007 Saturn ion in a five speed manual transmission
New tires (December 2023)

New wheel bearings (front and rear June 2024)
New shocks (front and rear June 2024)

This car runs incredibly well and I have not had any issues during my ownership. Would be a great daily driver or a first car for someone.VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)
