Deuce And A Half: 1966 M35 Series 2.5 Ton 6X6

This next car comes as a tip from Tom who writes: I’ve been looking at getting a “nice” new snowblower for my driveway, but those cost up to $3500. For just a little more I could also be prepared for a zombie apocalypse and haul in new gravel to replace what I scraped off the driveway all winter. Having driven one of these I don’t have enough room to turn it around though. Find this 1966 M35 Series 2.5 Ton 6X6 offered for $4,600 in Shohola, PA via craigslist.

1966 M275 (M35 Series) deuce and a half with 10′ commercial grade Western plow. The M275 is the tractor version of the deuce and a half. The 5th wheel was removed and a short bed with racks installed. Vehicle is a multi-fuel turbo diesel and was converted to 12 volt with a FASS fuel system. Addl conversion includes spin-on fuel and oil filters and power steering. Plow is power angle with a good cutting edge and fully operational. Fluids and filters recently changed. Truck has 10 virtually new heavy traction mud and snow tires. New alternator and master cylinder recently installed. Although the truck runs and drives fine I would not consider it road worthy due to age and rust and will be sold as such. This is a good vehicle for someone who has a large property and more so with a long driveway or other area to plow. Clear Pa. title and comes with extra filters and several military non-directional tires mounted on split rims. This is probably not the vehicle for the novice but rather for someone who can do their own routine service.
