Corona Beer Car: 1967 Volkswagen Beetle

If you are going to drive something crazy, it should be really crazy. If you want to celebrate Corona beer, don’t just drive a car with a Corona bumper sticker or a Corona air freshener…or even a complete Corona vinyl wrap. That’s not nutty enough. You need to go completely off the reservation and drive a car that looks like it came from a Richard Scarry book. Find this 1967 Volkswagen Beetle Bottle offered for $7,500 in Sacramento, CA via craigslist. Tip from Rock On! (previously seen for sale in 2019).

It is currently parked with a non-op status so no back fees.
Car is in Sacramento Ca and needs to be towed, or shipped.
This car was built sometime in the 90’s. The custom body is steel, not fiberglass.

Unlike the cost of real beer, no price increase from 2019!
This looks like a fun attention getter. My FIL bought a Suzuki X90 Red Bull car a long while back and used to get a lot of attention on the trails he’d take it on. Unrelated, the Red Bull girls showed up at my house once in one to visit a my buddy’s girlfriend. I took some pics to make my work buddies jealous…TG my wife, then girlfriend thought it was hilarious.
It was Aristotle who said,
“The beginning of the collapse of civilization will be marked from the moment humans use their ingenuity and free time to produce a drivable beer bottle.”
Apparently on the Isle of Man beer bottle cars are rather common

It may have been built in the 90s, but has Dunlop made a bias ply gt qualifier since the late 70s? They were hard for me to find back then.
