Conversation Starter: 1986 Pontiac Fiero V8

Do you know what was missing from the original mid-engine Fiero design? A shaker style hood scoop on the frunk. Trust me, it’ll shake with the rest of the poorly assembled GM parts bin plastic and it’ll look rad as you cruise down the boulevard in your mid-engine V8 swapped Fierno?! More like Fieryessss!!! Find this 1986 Pontiac Fiero V8 offered for $9,500 in Wooster, OH via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

1986 Pontiac Fiero. Has a excellent running 350 V-8, 5-Speed Transmission, The car was a one owner car and was done very well and tasteful with some custom touches when converted and redone. Factory sunroof, Very nice gray interior, Everything works on the car as it should, heater wipers all lights and gauges ect. work. Always upkept and stays at 180 degrees on the hottest days. Nice clean looking little car thats a conversation piece. fun toy to play with that won’t break the Bank!

You have to love the satchel affixed to the dash. Much more upscale version of a glove box!
I think that the proper name for that growth on the frunk is L88 style scoop, as seen on 427 Corvettes. A shaker scoop as seen on Hemi Cudas, Pontiac Trans Ams and various Ford products, is attached to the carburetor and actually shakes at various engine speeds.
Different wheels and get the bulge off the hood and I dont hate it.
Too bad that you will never get the paint to match after you remove the frunk tumor, because it’s kind of nice paint. Well actually it would look nice on a guitar but it’s almost cringey on this. Looks well done and expensive though.
