Classic Status Unlocked: 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass SX
The 3rd generation Oldsmobile Cutlass (1968-1972) was built on GM’s A-body platform, but featured unique styling by Oldsmobile’s internal head of design Stan Wilen. Of course it is powered by a big block V8 and shifted with a slushbox, because this is your father’s Oldsmobile. Find this 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass SX here on eBay
bidding for $13,900 located in East Islip, NY.
The ’70 Cutlass was available in a staggering array of body styles, including a 4-door sedan, 2-door coupe, 2-door vert, 2-door hardtop, 4-door hardtop, and 5-door wagon. This is the 2-door hardtop version and in my book is second only in cool factor to the fastback/coupe version.
Under the hood is an Olds Rocket 455 V8, a big brute fed via a 4bbl carburetor and conservatively rated at 370 horsepower. Mated to an automatic gearbox and a 12-bolt rear end, this this should make a great cruiser/bruiser.

Wow, this is so nice. The color is so spot on for the year.
This would be really cool to own.
I always say this but I would love to pick up my kids in this amongst the sea of Prii and Esclades
