Cheapest Around: 1999 Porsche Boxster
This next car comes as a tip from Cory who describes the car in simple terms as “running and driving”. That is a strong description for a Porsche Boxster that is offered for less than the price of a single wheel for a new Boxster. Apparently this car did have some issues at one point in time — according to the seller it “sat for a while with water in the footwell” but things but now it runs and drives. It has a bank lein, so I think the logical choice is to build it into a 24 Hrs of LeMons car. Good luck getting past the cost judges. 1999 Boxster , 5 speed 132k . Runs and drives , the convertible top drains were clogged and car sat for a while with water in the footwell I cleared the drains and had a new new immobilizer installed and programmed . Runs and drives , would make good for parts or race car . Clean Ny title but has and an old lien listed and bank won’t give me any info . There are dents and scratches around the car, the hood has a bad repaint with some spots failing, the headlights have a old clear bra that turned brown but underneath are are in good shape

Bank lien and a high-water mark, um I think they would have to pay me the $3,000 to take this thing.
Headlights color coordinated with the interior…you don’t see that every day.
What could go wrong, or more likely given the appearance and story “What could go right?”. I see ads like this and think I am too old for this game. :)
Porsches are crap, I wouldn’t take one for free.
