Cheaper By The Pound: 1946 Hudson Super Six Sedan

The Hudson you see here was produced after the end of WWII but before the introduction of Hudson’s revolutionary step-down unibody construction started in 1948.  Today’s example seems like a great price for a car that runs and drives, even though it needs serious restoration.  Find this 1946 Hudson Super Six Sedan here on eBay for $5,500 buy-it-now or make-offer, located in La Habra, CA.

The seller identifies the car as a Hudson Super Six, but it might actually be a Commodore sedan, but in truth I damaged my Hudson secret decoder ring when it was put through the wash in my trouser pocket.  However, if you are looking for a 40s classic to restore that won’t cost an arm/leg from the beginning, this isn’t a bad way to start.
