Stepping into a Buick dealer in 1992 and looking at the 2-door coupes must have been a strange experience. Too small– so you upsize to a mid sized Century coupe and maybe find an unsold LeSabre coupe from a previous model year, or an unsold ’91 Reatta if you are feeling more sporty. You could also get a Riviera Coupe (with available Buick Graphic Control) which fit into the personal luxury coupe market segment…but if you really wanted the sportiest coupe from 1992 there was only one answer…the Buick Regal GS. We had the previous gen Regal. 5.0 but felt like 500cc. Wallowed like a drunken hippo.
