Breath of Fresh Air: 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10
This next car comes a tip from Jeff who writes: I know this is over the DT price threshold and don’t expect you to post, but just thought I’d share a great example of depreciation. Sure, a V10 Viper putting out 400+ horsepower doesn’t sound like much by today’s standards, but just look at this thing….. an epic buy for $27k-ish. Still looks like a 6-figure exotic simply rolling down the road. I agree that this thing is epic for the price and it is a steal compared to all of the overpriced 993s, MkIV Supras, F355s, and E30 M3s — THIS is the answer. And it does have stock 400 horsepower pounding to the pavement without the aid of traction control, auto-gearboxes, anti-lock brakes or airbags. This next car is the Babe Ruth of the automotive world…its built on hot dogs and beer, not steroids and professional trainers. Find this 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 offered for $27,980 Niceville, FL via cargurus.

About my Viper
LOW MILEAGE – NO ACCIDENTS – RT/10 TARGA TOP – ULTRA RARE VEHICLE – RARE BLACK COLOR – 400 HP V10 ENGINE – AIR CONDITIONING – 2011 POLISHED ALUMINUM VIPER WHEELS – FIBERGLASS REMOVABLE TOP – ULTRA CLEAN CAR… This awesome Viper RT/10 is a blast to drive and an absolute head turner and conversation starter. People love to ask me about it everywhere I go. Seriously, people freak out over this car and it’s no wonder, they only made around 10,000 of the RT/10’s.
It’s been garage kept it’s whole life and very gently used. It has a $5000 mirror finish paint job in the factory black color that looks incredible. I also put the 2011 SRT Viper wheels on it to make it look more modern. Rear wheels are 19″, front wheels are 18″. It has a brand new Sony bluetooth audio/cd player stereo and new Memphis Audio 6.5″ door speakers and Memphis Audio separate 1″ tweeters.
The Transmission was just rebuilt 12/3/19 by Global Transmission in Ft Walton Beach, FL & they also installed a brand new clutch. The tranny carries a 1 year warranty. Vehicle will come with
Fiberglass top, soft windows, removable glass back window, car cover, Original 1994 factory 17″ Polished Viper wheels and tires with good Michelin tread, and the original Alpine tape deck. I hate to sell it but I just have too many toys…

Funny, with those wheels from the front 1/4 angle it looks like a TVR.
Also, the only downside of these is the sound. If you've ever heard someone really hammering the loud pedal in one of these with the factory exhaust, it sounds like a UPS truck/Vacuum cleaner hybrid.
That and burning your leg trying to get out.
Not a negative to me.
Not at all.
DrDel- "Not negative" –The leg burn or the rocks in a cement-mixer exhaust sound?
Best color for them is black.
Totally agree.
Babe Ruth of the road – great quip!
I’ve seen Lotus Sevens with more useful side windows.
I’ve seen more useful side windows on a Honda Helix.
Still don’t care. I want.
