Base 2-Speed: 1965 Chevrolet Corvair

Happy St Valentine’s Day! This next Corvair isn’t the fastest Vair on the planet (that’s probably something with a mid mounted V8) ..and I’d prefer the 4-speed manual version to this 2-speed powerglide equipped version, and it would be nice to have a bit more forward ooomph than the base 95 horsepower flat-6 can provide…but…this thing is super clean inside and out. So if your automotive nirvana is more sitting in a folding chair at a car show instead of burning through a clutch at the drags…this is your baby. Find this 1965 Chevrolet Corvair offered for $9500 in Anderson, SC via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!

Up for your consideration is this very nice looking 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Monza clone coupe with factory A/C. VIN # 101375W279429. This Corvair is equipped with the 95 hp horizontally opposed 6-cylinder engine and a 2 speed Power glide automatic transmission. These are great little cars and a very cool looking car that you can take to the local car show or cruise in just the way it sits.

This Corvair is extremely clean inside and out and the body is very solid and straight with very minimal imperfections. This car has been restored at some point and looks to have been a very nice job. All the rubbers and fuzzies appear new. The paint and interior all show very nice. The car runs extremely well and drives straight and true. The only unique features would be the before mentioned factory air condition that does work. It does also come with aftermarket Torque Thrust 15†custom chrome mag wheels that gives this Corvair a very sporty and aggressive look. This little Corvair should be a great future investment that you can actually take out and enjoy instead of keeping locked in the garage. The odometer is showing 67,XXX miles which we cannot verify as actual mileage. This is a great looking, running and driving car.
