Barn Find: 1959 Rambler Super Cross Country Wagon

This next feature was parked in a barn back in 1978 and remained untouched for almost 45 years. The original Pacific Wonderland license plates were still attached and the last time it was tagged was in 1978. This Rambler Super Cross Country was a true time machine that had been preserved in remarkable condition…well, mostly. The current owner has gotten the car back on the road and you can putter around with its original slant-6 and 3-on-the-three like it’s 1959. Find this 1959 Rambler Super Cross Country Wagon offered for $7,950 in Eugene, OR via craigslist.

1959 Rambler Super Cross Country Station Wagon Barn Find /Time Machine.
Parked in a barn in 1978.
Original Pacific Wonderland plates. Last tagged in 78.
An amazingly solid and straight survivor.
6 cylinder 3 speed on the column.
I purchased from the towing company that pulled it out of that barn.
I replaced the tires, had the fuel tank removed and acid dipped and resealed and painted. New brake Master and slave cylinders. New brake lines. Had carburetor rebuilt. Fresh tuneup, New voltage regulator, etc..
It runs perfect and drives great.
All lights , turn signals, wipers, heater fan, etc. work great. Radio turns on, but needs an antenna.
Otherwise all original.
Drive as a survivor, or would be a super easy car to restore.
But moving and need to find it a new home.
Have all paperwork from the towing company necessary to transfer the title.
Values for these a through the roof, with the low end at $17k. Restored they are bringing over $50k.
Priced this original to sell at $7950.
Email with number if interested.
Thanks
