Back So Soon? 1964 Ford Country Sedan Wagon
You may recognize this car from the last time we featured it, which was in August of 2014 here. It is still 99% original, still a great runner, still original paint, and still for sale. Find this 1964 Ford Country Sedan Wagon here on eBay
bidding for $8,201 reserve-not-met with 3 days to go, located in Salt Lake City, UT. Seller submission from Scott.
Who doesn’t love the idea of an original survivor giant wagon from the 60s, and Ford’s Country Sedan is nothing short of iconic. The giant chrome arrow shooting down the side, wrap around glass, bright grill — this thing has it all, and (something you couldn’t say for a 50’s wagon) you can drive this thing every day. Parts are cheap/plentiful and engineering was well done.
Power comes from a 352 cubic inch FE V8, good for 220 horsepower and mated to a 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic transmission. Per the seller: Mechanical: New brakes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder. Engine rebuilt recently (no documentation), doesn’t smoke, starts and runs great. New PS pump, water pump, cap, rotor, wires, belts, hoses, fuel pump, tires, shocks front and rear, battery, exhaust and mufflers, and I’m sure there is more that I am forgetting.

Scott is one of us, so you know this a great deal. A stunner and I would change absolutely nothing. I'd love owning this, were I in the market.
I would change several things, but it's still beautiful.
Yeah, it's unquestionably worth the money, which is a bunch more than a car like this would have gone for ten years ago, but you can't wait forever.
If I didn't already have my property filled with projects and daily-drivers in need of modest attention I'd be on this.
Good luck with it.
This is mine. It's great. I just got back from a 2800 mile road trip to Oregon/California and it was awesome. The reserve is actually right at $10k, and we are getting dangerously close to that. It didn't meet my higher-than-that reserve last time, so I decided to do a bit of work to it and go explore the west, Griswold-style and then try selling it again. I just picked up a 240Z that is screaming for my attention. 🙂
