Was Kimi driving a Peugeot that year? I am getting a 404 error from the link….
Whoops! Fixed the link.
He was with McLaren Mercedes from 2002 – 2006.
Ummm, that was a "404 Joke". I guess I should have added a smiley….
"won the 2003 season in 2nd place"
That's an interesting spin on a not-quite-championship-winning finish.
Other than for use as a static display piece, what can you really do with this car? The cost to put the proper engine back in it and track it again would be astronomical. These modern F1 cars need a team of engineers to keep running.
Definitely a cool piece for your garage/man cave, but at over a quarter million bucks, it seems insane. For comparison sake, one could hypothetically purchase every car appearing on DT for about a month for the same total sum as Kimi's car. What would you rather have?

Having seen a benneton f1 car at the watkins glen vintage cup i must say that if i was in the top tier of the 1% club id be all over this. Well first id have a ton of other cars and lots of serious track time then hell yeah.
At watkins he was trying to set a course record but only had like 2 laps to try before catching lapped traffic.
