We’d love to feature every single interesting car that gets sent in via tips or found in our searches, but there just isn’t enough time in the day. However, this is a new featured called Auction Watch that will supplement (not replace) our regular features. For the most part, the plan is to pick up cars with a few days to go and let you the reader comment on the bidding.
"this car seen the track ONCE, best time in 1/8 mile 7.60's consistent"
How does someone get consistent times if they drive it only once at the track?
Went to the track once, furiously ran passes all day long, now I am unloading this thing…..
Street Outlaw 1/8 mile? Run till you hear the sirens, watch out for the cow…
If you put a coyote in with a mustang, won't there be a fight?
Anyway, I suspect this Mustang was rode hard and put away wet. I hope the hood was required for clearance. I'll wait for a clean stock LX Fastback 5.0.
Okay…Flaming River rack means manual steering conversion, it's still got the four-link rear (serious Fox reworking means a three-link-and-Watts/Panhard or a torque arm) even with the MM arms.
I don't really know anything about the AJE crossmember and arms, they look a lot like Griggs/MM but I have no experience with them.
You need that hood for a 351W wearing a chefs-hat EFI intake but it looks a bit excessive for that combo.
And why on Earth would you build something like this and leave the battery under the hood?
