I have ridden a Ural with side car fun if your into slow and don't hurry the shift or it get's a little unpleasant.
Yea, I knew a guy who was importing these into Canada in the early 80's. He sold every one with a complimentary engine rebuild kit, as he knew they were going to kill that engine on the first long down hill grade. His advise was to disengage the clutch and hope the brakes worked, ha ha ha! They might work fine on what passed for country roads in the old Soviet Motherland, but they do not rev well. A VERY poor copy of a pre-war BMW. Sure LOOK cool though.
I have a basket case 1974 R75/6 that has a good motor/trans but everything else is a disaster. Often have thought of using the drivetrain in a swap with one of these. Needs to be a much lower ask than this though for it to make any sense.
