factory bucket seats and console
very rare factory disc brakes like the cobras
This is the original numbers matching motor and trans/ rear end 302 is very powerful runs and sounds fantastic
Exhaust is less then a year old motor is turn key starts every-time
the factory 4 speed transmission shifts nice and smooth
brakes have all been gone through and stops great
this car can driven everyday it’s dependable
interior is in excellent condition one family owned Washington car all its life
Exterior is all original has dime size rust spot on rear lower quarter driver side car is very solid
This car will make somebody very happy I know the new owner will enjoy the old Ford

Ah yes, back when Detroit's idea of a bucket seat was half a bench. Even the ones that looked like real seats felt and gripped like half a bench.
Probably a decent buy but for me this era was the point at which the Fairlane started to take on a little too much bulk.
A high school friend bought one of these with a 428 4 speed. The first night he had it we went for a ride in it. He did a posi burnout for about 60 feet. Then he said oops, I started in second gear… That thing had a lot of torque which that huge car needed to get it moving.
Sold for $7600. Seems like a decent car for that money.
The previous gen. were so very lovely. The Dragnet-era Fairlane hardtops. Yum.
These always reminded me of a Rambler Marlin from certain angles. That is not a good thing to my eye.
