Hello and thanks for viewing our item, today we have up for grabs a 63
lotus super seven series 2. this car has been donated to a company to
generate funds for the donor to donate money to the Ottawa humane
society.
I will now try to provide all the information I know about
this vehicle.engine rebuilt by the late Baily Desjardins in 2013.car was
on the road approximately 2 years ago. car comes with a fully clear
Ontario ownership that is in pass fit condition.right hand drive, lotus
twin cam engine, dual Weber dcoe40-18’s,dry sump with tank oil
cooler,chromed headers,originally prepared by Ecurie of Canada,fully
adjustable chromed front suspension, minilite wheels, original lotus
formula car steering wheel, raced in the late sixties and early seventies
by Bob Roy of Montreal ,national class champion., This is the
information I was provided when I picked the car up. As for my personal
assessment I have had people who are familiar with lotus and they have
confirmed its the real deal. I must apologize to the previous people who
have given me solid offers on this car,The person who had agreed to buy
it was a total fake and waste of time.I am selling this car as is
where is with no implied guarantee or warranty so please bid
accordingly. there are no doors and no top for the car, what you see is
what you get.viewing is available between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm
Monday to Friday. ask any questions you would like
Chrome plated front suspension?
Don't the series 2 cars still have the anti roll bar substituting for half of the upper A arm? I would be concerned about hydrogen embrittlement causing a anti roll bar failure and subsequent full lock steering in a random direction.
