A Strange Kit: 1966 Fiberfab Banshee

If you tell your friends that you cruise around in a fiberglass body classic car that has clamshell hood and gullwing doors they’ll think you are some kind of secret millionaire. But you could be a secret Fiberfab fan instead and drive crazy fiberglass contraptions that look way more expensive than their price tag. I wonder if there is a catch…? Find this 1966 Fiberfab Banshee with a starting bid of $19999 in San Rafael, CA via ebay motors.

From the seller:

1966 Banshee by Fibergab
1962 Austin Healey Mk 2 Tri Carb

1966 Banshee by Fiberfab mounted on a 1962 Austin Healey Mk 2 Tri Carb. It has the original engine, 4 speed transmission with overdrive. One of 12 Banshees made.

The car has new tires, front shocks, bushings, distributor, rotor, cap, coil, plugs, fuel tank sending unit, carb floats and air cleaners. It runs well but needs some exhaust and tune up work to be perfect. The passenger door needs alignment to get it to close flush. See the last two pictures to compare the driver side door with the passenger side door.
