Looks like fun, but that V-8 is probably only 260 cubic inches and 110 horsepower.
IIRC it seems the 231 v-6 came with a 3-speed (auto/man) or 5-speed. The 260 v-8 was paired the same. The 305 v-8 that came with a 2 bbl had either a 4-speed manual or 3-speed auto. And what really surprised me was the 305 v-8 that came with a 4 bbl only a 3-speed auto. Subject to correction.
My Dad had same car color combo with a 231 evenfire V-6 he had good luck with it. That 260 v-8 is a gutless wonder . The Gutless Cutlass my friend called his girl friends car that but her car was way better then what he drove.
