6 Speed Wagon: 2009 BMW 535iT

BMW has had a long history of equipping their executive class cruiser with a manual gearbox — from the first E28 5-series all the way through the current funny looking thing sold at…wait…BMW stopped selling manual gearbox in the 5-series in 2014…yikes, I’m outta the loop.  AND BMW will stop selling manual gearboxes in the regular 3-series in the USA after 2019…sheesh, what am I supposed to drive in 2029? I guess cars from the 1960s will still be around or this next oddball. Find this 2009 BMW 535iT offered for $12,500 in Livonia, MI via craigslist. Tip from FuelTruck.

Up for sale is my 2009 BMW 535xiT Wagon Navy Blue/ Natural Brown (carmel) with the sought after 6 speed manual transmission. BMW made less than 300 of these E61 models from 2008-2010 and this will probably be the last 5 Series BMW Wagon ever offered in a manual transmission ever again. I’ve owned 4 of the E61 cars produced and am an avid BMW Enthusiast.

Car has all available power options including power folding mirrors, steering wheel and seats. Seats & Steering Wheel are heated with the Cold Weather Package. Brand new OEM all weather mats, Panoramic Roof works great and has no flaws. Suspension is tight and handles well. The N54 Twin Turbo engine really wakes this E61 Chassis up and has all the power you’ll ever need. Only thing mechanical that has been replaced recently is the HPFP High Pressure Fuel Pump. Car runs and drives perfectly. Heat is hot and A/C is cold. Leather is in 10/10 condition with no wear to the bolsters or other high traffic areas. Trunk is complete with spare and tools. Battery has been replaced in the last 12 months. The wheels are wrapped in almost new Blizzak Snow Tires. Comes with 2 key fobs.

Only upgrades to the car are interior lighting has been re-done in White LED Lighting as well as the License Plate Lamps, ZHP Weighted Shift Knob and 20mm spacers for the Rear Wheels to make them flush with the fenders, upgraded LED halo’s, 35% tint all the way around, shadow line trim and matte black kidneys.

Vehicle was purchased from an Insurance Auction and the vehicle was hit on the drivers side rear quarter. The rear door and rear bumper were undamaged and did not even need to be replaced. The drivers side rear control arm was replaced. It still has the same left rear rim unbent and undamaged. Car was taken to Precision Autohaus in Southfield, MI who specializes in foreign and high end car collision and was repaired to OEM spec. There is no orange peel or obvious blemishes showing this vehicle was in a wreck. No Frame Damage etc. ever occurred. The vehicle was then inspected by the State of Michigan and given a Michigan Rebuilt Title. Banks such as SunTrust or Credit Unions still can offer loans on Rebuilt Title vehicles. Car has been driven roughly 2000 miles since the accident and has performed flawlessly. No weird vibrations or rattles no misalignment etc.
