6-Speed F30: 2012 BMW 328i
I was lamenting the asking prices of decent examples of the E30 generation BMW 3-series the other day when I had the awkward realization that there is another skywalker. You could look for an E36 3-series 1990-1997); those aren’t that expensive unless they are mint, same with the E46 generation (1998-2004), or even the modern E90 (2005-2011)…but …like Mr Popeil says, wait, wait, there’s more. The F30 generation of BMW’s 3-series was released in 2012 with a 328i version that had a 2.0 liter turbo 4-cylinder good for 240 horsepower and it’s not a bad car at all when you get a manual. Find this 2012 BMW 328i offered for $7,900 in San Marcos, CA via craigslist. This was a $50K brand new car when this website was born.
