5k: Sissy 4X4: 1989 Fiat Panda 4X4 Sisley Edition
The first generation Fiat Panda is a Giorgetto Giugiaro designed city car (subcompact, supermini…it all depends on where you live and what version of English you subscribe to) that was Fiat’s take on the VW Type 1 from 1980 to 2003. It was the people’s Fiat – designed to be cheap and affordable, the car for every garage…but what would you buy if you were a canoeing enthusiast? Find this 1989 Fiat Panda 4X4 Sisley
currently bidding $1,025 reserve-not-met with 1 day to go, located in Frome, UK.
The Panda was produced in copious quantities, spit from Italian factories for European consumption like boxes of dry spaghetti. Between 1980 and 2003 over 4.5 million of the little solid rear axle equipped econoboxes were sold for next to nothing at Fiat dealers.
The Sisley package was a 4X4 equipped Panda that had a few unique features and most importantly canoe emblems on the seats. Unfortunately, the canoe is a good indication of speed capable with the 48 horsepower 1.0 liter inline-4.

Love these, despite their shortcomings. If only…in the US, federalized and smogged. Alas…
The seller is estimating $5500 between shipping and import fees, not counting whatever they want for the car (considering the model, condition and mileage, is probably nowhere near the current $1225 bid). At that rate, you need to really, really want one of these…
I think their concept is akin to a 1 a.m. informercial, "the product is free, just pay shipping and handling" that exceeds the value of the product. Since when does it cost 3000 to ship a car from the UK to the U.S.? And I suspect they charge this for roll on roll of shipping.
Efficiently written information. It will be profitable to anybody who utilizes it, counting me. Keep up the good work. For certain I will review out more posts day in and day out. cookie cutter
