5k: One Owner: 1999 Acura Integra GS-R
The 3rd generation Acura Integra (1994-2001) was the final Acura to be named Integra in the US Market (although the torch was passed to the remarkably similar RSX). The Integra sold well when new and became a huge hit in the sport compact scene once it became affordable for kids to modify; many have been attacked with nitrous systems, neon lights and plywood wings. Finding a stock/clean 3rd generation Integra is quite difficult today and getting one from an original owner is almost impossible. Find this 1999 Acura Integra GS-R for sale in Paterson, NJ for $6,300 buy-it-now on ebay.
This Integra is offered from a small car dealer in New Jersey as a one-owner all original example. The car looks in great shape and the cooling system should be up to task if you get stuck in any unexpected bridge traffic.
The GS-R (Grand Series – Racing) version of the Integra was offered with a 1.8 liter B18 inline-4 dual over-head cam screamer that put out 170 horsepower and 128 ft-lbs of torque. The GS-R was equipped with leather seats, alloy wheels, a rear wing and only offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox mated to the front wheels.
Before you dismiss the GS-R Integra as another under-steering front-drive crap-hatch, take one for a test drive and experience the joy of revving the Honda B18 to redline…again…and again…those little engines seem to love the abuse. See a better GS-R or Type R…stock please! tips@dailyturismo.com
These are so much fun to have the little 4-banger scream towards the 8k redline. Insurance is terrible, at least when I owned one.
I had one of these for a year and a half and the interior got stolen once- my wife went to sit in the car at night and fell to the ground because there were no seats. The whole car then got stolen about a year later and stripped (interior, wheels, bumpers, hood, lights). They left the engine but it still got the salvaged title.
The biggest problem with this car? The parts bolt right into civics.
They're frequently in the top three "Most Stolen Cars in America" lists, which is a true shame. A clean GS-R sedan is constantly on my wish list though. I'll add a mighty alarm system and put up with the premium gas.
I loved mine right up to the point where I spun it into a tree. This color combination is great / terrible. The green is really nice but the tan interior shows wear really bad, it might look clean in the pictures but my guess is it looks warn in person.

I wouldn't call this one well maintained. They appear to have replaced the motorized antenna with a pep boys special and the muffler with some cheap piece of crap (if the car was silver they might have used a fart can). He even f'd up the polished alloy wheels.
I had one for 6 yrs and they're reliable if maintained and not abused. Radiator does leak after 6 years and they can be hard on tires, but lots of fun. Better without leather.
