4th of July: 1995 Buick Roadmaster

Let’s kick off DT’s 4th of July extended weekend of AMERICANA a few hours early with this next tribute to all things from the land of the red, the white, and the blue. For the next three days we publish nothing but freedom here. There are few things more American than a huge woodgrain sided station wagon for your family and this was the last of the old school wagons that had rear facing seats for the little snot pickers to be as FAR away from mom and dad has possible. This is also the proper years that had the coveted port-injected LT1 V8 (instead of the earlier lower horsepower V8) AND this next one looks good aside from some rustycrustiness that you might expect from a car from Pennsylvania. Find this 1995 Buick Roadmaster bidding for $6,400 with a few hours to go located in White Marsh, MD via ebay motors.

As I recall. or perhaps I don’t. doesn’t somebody at DT or a well known and so knowledgeable DT’er, have one of these behemoths? In any event it is a monstrosity but I know I am in the minority…..just where I like to be! 🙂
You do recall, correctly! Kaibeezy bought a blue on blue 1994 wagon from a Vegas lounge singer named Bud E Luv (of course). It came with the rare “wood delete” option. He had a hard time finding a buyer befire he moved to Neptune, so he gifted the beast to Vince and the car came down to So-Cal. Vince passed it along to me, and then I gave it back to him, after a few years each. Last I heard it was with a relative who needed wheels. It was a magnificent cruiser but high on miles. This 95 looks sweet.
