Are they electric?
LimeBike made a successful entry into my town with its bicycle rideshare model. they did not introduce any of the scooters mentioned or shown in your link. their first iteration bikes here were all entirely human powered. they did a followup with essentially similar frame design electric models. those were visually distinguishable by the green painted rack over rear wheel. that rack housed a Lime-collection-van-swappable battery. their drive system was a rear wheel hub motor and handlebar throttle control. And yes, tho very popular in my college/university/city area, they pulled everything out with the spring 2020 Covid lockdowns- never to return. i see some E-models in the Kilobike DT splash photo. Are their unmaintained batteries worth a damn? dunno. the mount point is convenient for fast swapping- useful for their business model, but is a poor location for bicycle handling dynamics. creates a high center of balance.
Gee, if I weren’t 300 miles north I’d buy two or three just to play around with. Move the batteries down by the bottom bracket, maybe put another motor on the front. Hmm.
