The B2 Passat/Quantum rides on a platform shared with the Audi 80, 90 4000, Coupe, and Quattro. The 2.2 liter inline-5 cylinder engine is mounted ahead of the front transaxle and makes 110 horsepower. Have you confirmed the car's location? It doesn't have enough stickers on the back to be from Port Townsend.
Is there any reason not to do an Ur-Quattro turbo 5 swap into this wagon? 034 Motorsport probably sells all the parts you'd need to finish it.
Because the 20v turbo out of a 200/S4/S6 is vastly superior to the 10v found in the Ur-quattro.
