Interesting Pair: 1996 Volvo 960 Hearse and Limo
I knew a guy who was restoring an old Cadillac Hearse…and I don’t think he was quite right in the head. Aside from taking up a colossal percentage of the square footage in our co-op auto shop, with a separate body and frame from a 60s Caddy Hearse, it was just a bit too morbid for me. Of these next two cars the 960 Hearse version is perhaps more visually interesting, but the 960 limo is the winner for me. Find this 1996 Volvo 960 Hearse and Limo offered for $13,000 (each or both, it isn’t clear from the punctuation and grammar free advertisement) in Long Island, NY via craigslist. Tip from Cory.

the sweeping curve of the roof over driver’s head on the hearse looks so out of place on this brick. couldn’t they have done something designed with a ruler instead of a french curve?

I can see Caddies outfitted like this locally at half the price. I really don’t see the attraction of one of these with RHD for use in North American traffic these days
I am amazed the ad doesn’t include “be the only one at your local cars n coffee.” I would 100% agree on the limo, driving something this awkward and being on the wrong side would just be a complete pain.

Convenient, the hearse seats 4 in leather comfort. It has two folding seat apparently. Good dog car.
