Just saw Alan Brands post as I was declaiming the Ike Turner truth. Phew…saved myself from internet ignominy. One of the greatest RnR songs ever. While all the white folks were tapping their feets to Pat Boone and Rosemary Clooney, the Bros were ripping it up as they always had. Louis Jordan anyone? Lawrence Fishburne did a great job lip synching ,I assume, the song in Whats Love Got To Do With It. My beloved Siberian, Rocket 88, lived the dream for fifteen years. Wish I could post a pix…..
