18k Mile Body In White: 1976 Chevrolet Nova Concours

A white Chevrolet Nova with a red landau roof isn’t something you’d want to admit to buying new in the late 1970s…but today…anybody would be proud to rock this thing every single day of the week. Which makes it almost a crime that the odometer reading is so low on this amalaising piece of automotive art history. Find this 1976 Chevrolet Nova Concours offered for $18,500 in Scottsdale, AZ via craigslist. Tip from Zeke.

If someone poops in a box, and then keeps the box “low low miles” for 40 years, is that worh $18k? What if the box has opera windows?
45 years old.
Amazing.

I dont know, it was lame in ’76…….and……it’s still lame.
It’s like that dilemma about whether you should tow it to the car show and keep it pristine, or drive it and enjoy it, except without the “drive it and enjoy it” part. So you have to ask yourself, do I want a car like this to tow to the car show? Not especially.
Think of all the way better cars that could have been saved like this. Even this one in a better color. Even this one without the landau roof. Do they come off pretty easily?
And it’s still on craigslist! @ $18,000 I think it’s going to be on there for a long time, I mean you can have this turd: https://classics.autotrader.com/classic-cars/1976/chevrolet/nova/100830173 for $5995 and it’s 80-90% as good as this car for FAR less money. They’d be lucky to get $8K IMHO. These are not what the ’68-’72 cars were.
