15k: Low Mile: 1991 GMC Syclone

The GMC Syclone was a factory hot rod version of the GMC Sonoma pickup truck, built only in the 1991 model year.  The Syclone featured 4 wheel disc brakes, a turbocharged V6 and
all-wheel-drive..but the best part is that unlike every other pickup ever
built…it was actually fast. Find this 1991 GMC Syclone currently bidding for $15,500 reserve not met with 1 day to go located in Denver, CO.

The entire production run of 2,995 Syclones were only available in black and subsequent years were to offer more colors/options, but GM put the brakes on the crazy pickup sales after a single model year (although technically three examples left with 1992 model year vin).

The Syclone was powered by a 4.3 liter LB4 V6 with MHI TD06 turbocharger
and a water-to-air intercooler.  The LB4 puts out 280 horsepower and
350 ft-lbs of torque, enough to launch its 4X4 chassis from 0-60mph in 5.3 seconds and embarrass Ferrari 348 owners when new.

The inside of this Syclone looks great, and it should because this one has only 30k miles on the odometer.  It will be interesting to see where the bidding ends on this one because it should represent the very top of the Syclone market.
