• Had two turbo Buicks in the past – an 86 T-Type and an 87 Grand National. Still one of my favorite rides. The 84-85 Buicks don't have collectability factor as the 86-87 models because they weren't intercooled, plus the turbos were a bit smaller and mounted towards the rear of the engine. The 86-87 models are worth the wait/extra investment.

I have always wanted one, non-t-top. They are out of my price range now. I always thought it would be cool to get a regal and build my own GNX

    • Agreed! Mine didn't have T-Tops. My 79 Trans-Am, 84 Z-28 and 1993 Nissan 300ZX TT all did have T-Tops and that was ENOUGH for me.

  • An LS kinda diminishes the whole point of the GN, now, dont'cha think? Then it would be a "me, too!" LS-conversion, not at all unique.

    • I wondered the same thing. If you go to their website, its not horribly priced considering that it does run, is reasonably rust free. Needs paint and interior refresh, but those are getting hard to find.
