    I've seen a few of these on my local CL recently, also a few Outback XTs. I recall some people saying they were utter crap, but others supporting them. Also differing opinions on whether or not the manual is really better than the auto in this application. Curious to hear others' thoughts on this.

      I have a 2005 Outback XT, 5MT. Dead reliable if you take care of a few things up front. Mine has 65k miles on it, so I dont know how it will be in 30 years when I hit 150k. :p

      Dead reliable? Spoken like someone who hasn't owned one past 90k miles.
