The first generation Chevrolet S-10 Blazer/Jimmy was a compact SUV built on the S-10 pickup chassis from 1983 through 1994. The Blazer offered a some level of truck utility and seating for 5 people, but they did not offer a removable hardtop like the full-sized K5 Blazer/Jimmy. Regardless, this next example has been converted into a panel-style van. Find this 1985 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer here on eBay bidding for $200 reserve-not-met with $2,950 buy-it-now located in Rio Linda, CA with 5 days to go.
This panel van style Blazer looks like it could have been something that GM offered from the factory (it would probably sold well in Europe) but it is actually the work of a customizer with a welder. The roof and sides show some icky looking rust with paint falling off, so factor a respray into the cost of this thing.
Under the hood is GM’s 2.8 liter LR2 V6 that is fed via a 2-bbl carburetor to produce 115 horsepower and 150 ft-lbs of torque. It won’t be remotely fast, but at least you get to row your own gears. The original interior is in good shape, but the headliner is coming down, but it otherwise looks decent for the asking price.
