The E34 generation BMW 5-series was available as a sedan in 525i, 530i, 540i, and M5 versions…but if you wanted the wagon you had to settle for 525i/530i versions only in North America…and to make matters worse, you couldn’t even get a manual gearbox, unless you get a modified one like this next feature. Find this 1993 BMW 525i Wagon 5-Speed offered for $5000 in Denver, CO via craigslist. Tip from Rock On!
From the seller:
I’m selling my e34 1993 with manual transmission.
Super Sprint exhaust
Manual transmission – e34 wagon was never sold in the US with manual transmission!
Limited-slip differential! No ABS or traction control…
e36 M3 body kit – fits really perfect to the e34 body
The car is in the decent shape but need front and rear shocks, tyres and wheel alignment.
The transmission makes rattling sound, there is no impact on the performance… it’s just annoying when you stopped at the lights.
As soon as you push the clutch rattling sound is gone so right now it is not necessary to swap the transmission but if the new owner would want to then a used transmission is about $300. We swapped the clutch and mounts hoping it is either one of them but it sis not resolve the issue.
These are the major things that needs to be done.
Other than shocks there is few minor stuff on the body/interior like a from seats and the headliner should be fixed (looks shitty).
Car is fast, come and try, some investment is needed to make the performance perfect bot other than that it is a cool looking fast car.
I won’t accept any low offers…
Send me e-mail or text and we will schedule a test ride.
