    "relationship with a retired (certain kind of movie) star" put me to mind of the other end of the spectrum, which gets mentioned around here once in a while, along the lines of "not enjoyably driving your fancy car is like not doing (certain kinds of stuff) with your supermodel spouse so as to leave her/him pristine for her/his next spouse"

    which i suppose means all other people and cars are somewhere in between on that analogy – curious to think about people you meet and what car they would correspond to if you lined those two scales up

    anyhoo, pardon the parenthetical avoidances – my kid reads my comments

    At least he has reasonable prices, often the hoarding type fail to recognize the value of their things hasn't appreciated like they hoped.

    This is an awesome find. Sometime in the future, someone will look back at this and wonder why he didn't buy the entire lot and fill his barn. But he will probably then get back to slaving away in the salt mines for his robot overlords.
