My first car @ 15yo was a 61 Corvair 2DR with a 4 speed paid $25 bucks from my neighbor was not running put a new coil in it and it ran fine smoked a little @ high speed. Was a blast to drive the powerglides not as much fun keep a extra fan belt in the boot you will need it very soon.

Doesnt look like the correct seat pattern or materiel, anyone know otherwise? Unless you bastardize it, not much you can do with it. Probably owned by a sporty AARP aged farmer back in the day. Just needs two more doors.

That is not the factory seat/door panel pattern, but it does look pretty good for being incorrect.

^^ Actually, it looks a bit like the Levi's Edition that Gremlins and Jeeps used to have.

95 Horsepower is the base engine. With the 4-speed, the 110 is pretty peppy in this car. Never tried one with a 'glide though. According to my mechanic, the 110 is also less finicky than the 140 or 180.
